Friendsville man found not guilty in beating death of neighbor

MARYVILLE (WATE) - Jimmy Lynn Rauhuff was found not guilty Thursday afternoon in the 2010 beating death of his neighbor.

Jimmy Lynn Rauhuff, 40, of Friendsville, and Crystal Victoria Summey, 33, of Greenback, were charged with the death James Moser, 65, who was found beaten in his home on Cave Road in Friendsville in October of 2010. Blount County Deputies said Moser died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Summey took a plea deal in order to testify at Rauhuff's trial.
