Shelters open up across Campbell Co. to house storm victims

LAFOLLETTE (WATE) - Many shelters have opened up across Campbell county for storm victims in response to the possible tornado touchdown.

Church employees of Forks Grove Baptist Church, located at 421 Bethlehem Road, said they can hold up to 300 people.

The second shelter is at West Lafollette Elementary School at 318 W Beech Street.

A Red Cross shelter located at 300 Beech Street in Lafollette has been closed for Sunday evening. Red Cross officials told 6 News if you need shelter, you need to call (865) 584-2999. From there, you will be directed to Red Cross.
