TBI offers $1,000 reward for capture of Sevierville probationer

NASHVILLE (WATE) - A Sevierville man has been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Top Ten Most Wanted List.

Nathan McCollum, 31, is wanted by the Tennessee Department of Corrections and TBI for violation of probation for attempted aggravated kidnapping, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, violation of an order of protection and several theft and traffic charges.

TBI says McCollum removed his GPS monitor on July 13 after being discharged from a drug treatment program in Alabama. Police and TDOC officials found the GPS monitor in Chattanooga the following day.

McCollum is described as a white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He stands approximately 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 245 pounds. He has tattoos on his face, neck, both arms and legs, back and chest.

McCollum has a criminal history of burglary and has had various convictions. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of McCollum is urged to call TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND or TDOC at 1-844-TDC-FIND. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
