MORRISTOWN (WATE) - Two Hamblen County Sheriff's Office deputies are being credited for saving a dog from a drainage pipe.

The sheriff's office says neighbors found the 15-year-old dog named Sierra stuck 30 feet down an 18 inch pipe. It had apparently been there for two days.

The two deputies were able to get the dog out Wednesday night using a backhoe.

They say the dog is doing well, all things considered.
