Incumbent candidates win sheriff and mayoral races in Anderson County

CLINTON (WATE) - The incumbent sheriff and mayor candidates in Anderson County have been declared winners in their respective races.

With all precincts reporting, incumbent Republican Mayor Terry Frank defeated Democratic opponent Jim Hackwork by a margin of 53 percent to 43 percent.

Independent candidate Bradley Pickett received 4 percent of the vote.

In the sheriff's race, incumbent Paul White defeated Anthony Lay 52 percent to 48 percent.
