SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - A group of Sevier County students are facing charges. They're accused of stealing guns and then trying to hide them in a school.

Four students were involved. One is a Northview Academy student. The other three attend Sevier County High.

Investigators say two students were involved in a burglary and stole five guns. The other two helped hide one of those guns inside Sevier County High School.

Eventually one student confessed and police were able to recover all the weapons.

Investigators don't believe the students planned to use the gun at school, but they're all facing charges for having it on campus.
