SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - When Kenny Rogers nominated Dolly Parton to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, he says he never thought she would accept, but his duet partner took the challenge in only the way she could.

Parton says the challenge, which benefits the ALS Association, had been on her bucket list for a long time.

She says Rogers didn't think she would accept the dare with her fake eyelashes, fake hair and fake nails.

"Roger, you'd be surprised at what all I do with my falses, for a good cause and a good laugh, so here I go," joked Parton.

The songstress took the challenge with the help of her two nieces, who she says were "dying to see (her) hair-due go down the drain."

After taking the challenge Parton encouraged other to donate, but not before making one last joke at Rogers' expense.

"Yes, I have on a bra," she reveals. "Kenny, you have to pay extra for the wet t-shirt contest."
