Ingredients
1 lb cooked pasta or macaroni, any style
1 quart half and half
3 cup quality sharp cheddar
1 tbs mustard
3 tbs flour
2 tbs granulated onion
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
2 tbs butter
Preparation:
In a small saucepan, melt the butter with mustard, flour and seasonings. Blend well, cook for 2-3 minutes stirring constantly. Slowly stir the half and half into the saucepan. When the mixture is not (NOT BOILING), add the cheese and stir until melted. Pour this mixture over the pasta (the pasta is already in a baking dish) or macaroni. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Let set out 5-10 minutes before serving.
