CROSSVILLE (WATE) -- Cumberland County authorities have charged a man with first degree murder after the fatal shootings of a mother and her four-year-old daughter.

Kimberly Wyatt, 27, and her daughter were found shot Saturday night in the parking lot of the Lantana Church of Christ in Crossville.

Wyatt was dead when police arrived. Her daughter, Sarah, was airlifted to UT Medical Center where she later died.

Huston Foley Lloyd, 48, was arrested and faces two counts of first degree murder.

A friend and co-worker of Wyatt's says she was well liked. "I got to know her because she was married to my cousin and because I worked with her," Donna Wyatt said. "But I got to loving her because of her."

Donna told 6 News Kim was well liked at her job as a nurse at the Bledsoe County Prison.

Donna also said Kim was a devoted mother of two who had been separated from her husband.

According to Donna, the suspect also worked as a nurse for the Department of Corrections in Middle Tennessee.

"She was unaware he was married until recently and she'd been telling us she's received some very disturbing calls at work threatening her, saying her days were numbered," Donna Wyatt said. "He told her he'd kill her and undoubtedly that's what he did."

Donna said she's not sure what happened Saturday night, but she said Kim was with a male friend who witnessed the shooting.

Donna says she believes Lloyd was jealous of that man's attachment to Kim and her girls.

For those who knew Kim and her little girl, Sarah, the loss is hard to take.

"It ain't gonna be the same," Donna said. "If she ever needed anything, she'd say you know I love you. I'm gonna miss that."
