ROCKWOOD (WATE) -- The discovery of the body of a 23-year-old man is the second tragedy to hit his family in a week.

Travis Daniels' body was found Tuesday in a ditch on Black Jack Road in Rockwood.

He leaves behind a fiancée, Nikki Kneisler, 22.

Just a few days ago, the couple lost their infant daughter to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

"We just buried her on Saturday and then this afternoon, we found out that her fiancée had died," says Nikki's father, Harry Kneisler.

Detectives working the case say right now, they still have questions.

"We are still early on in the investigation," says Roane County Sheriff's Detective Bryan Walker. "If you have a death when no one is around, we have to look until we can get some answers."

Daniels' body was found in Rockwood, but he's from the Harriman area.

Nikki Kneisler's family says they don't have any idea why he would be there.
