It's official: Tennessee is number one

KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- For the first time in Tennessee men's basketball history, the Volunteers are ranked number one in the country.

In the latest Associated Press and coaches polls, the Vols hold the top spot. 

Tennessee's victory over then top-ranked Memphis on Saturday night impressed the voters.

The Vols play at SEC rival Vanderbilt on Tuesday night.
