Ingredients: 10 oz sliced Italian sausage 1/2 to 1 cup sliced mushrooms 1/2 red, yellow and green bell pepper - julienne sliced 1/2 red onion, sliced 1 tbs butter 3/4 cup heavy cream 1/4 cup reggianito or parmesan cheese 6 to 8 oz fettucine noodles 1 tbs garlic 1 tsp saute' and grill dust Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation: Boil fettucine al dente. In a sauce pan, saute' sausage in butter for 3 - 5 minutes. Add peppers, onions, mushrooms and seasonings. Add salt and pepper to taste. Saute' for 3-5 minutes. Add heavy cream and cheese. Stir for 1 minute. Toss in fettucine noodles in pan while the heavy cream reduces to a velvety sauce. Serves 2-4 people.
