Congratulations to Erin Atchley, our Teacher of the Month for May.

Mrs. Atchley is an English teacher at Central High School.

Aiyana Davidson offered these reasons why Mrs. Atchley should be honored as an outstanding educator.

Mrs. Atchley is the greatest teacher you will ever know. Everyone has that one teacher out of all their school years who inspires them to do better, and also to look up to. Mrs. Atchley is mine.

Mrs. Atchley is such a caring, loving, open, thoughtful, giving, helpful, and a lot more. Mrs. Atchley is a teacher who cares about what goes on in her students lives. She inspires all of her student to do better. When ever we need to talk to someone about anything she is always there. She will stop what she is doing and just listen.

She is also a great teacher. She always makes sure that all of her students are understanding what they are learning. She stays on everyone to make sure they get everything in before the grading period is over. If you need some help on her homework, she will be glad to help. She will help not just in her subjects but for any homework. If it is writing a paper or just doing a math problem. She really focuses on her students. This is why I think Mrs. Erin Atchley of Central High School should be teacher of the month.
