Congratulations to Tiffany Nicely, our teacher of the month for October.
Mrs. Nicely is a 4th grade teacher at Karns Elementary.
Mrs. Nicely was nominated by Laurie and Hannah Speer, who offer these reasons why she is an outstanding educator:
Mrs. Nicely has been a teacher at Karns for over 14 years!
Mrs. Nicely is VERY in tune and keeps the parents informed day to day with issues and progress with your child.
Mrs. Nicely protects our children while on her watch and she challenges them!
Mrs. Nicely has always been caring and loving to our children.
Mrs. Nicely spends A LOT of her "FAMILY" time doing things for the class. She is never behind in our children's lessons nor in giving the parents information we need, never last minute.
Mrs. Nicely had been teaching 3rd grade for the past 13 years at Karns. As you may know, Karns Elementary is the LARGEST Elementary with over 1300 students.
My daughter, who had Mrs. Nicely for 3rd grade, has Cystic Fibrous and I have always been involved in her class to make sure she gets a caring, compassionate teacher that would be there for her. Mrs. Nicely is that teacher! I was really involved in her class last year and all her students and Parents LOVED her!
Well as it turned out, Karns was short on 4th grade teachers for the 2008 year. Mrs. Nicely ROLLED over to the 4th grade and by doing that she kept her 3rd grade class. She had to learn the new 4th grade program for our children! She did that for our children so they could jump back in class after summer. What a wonderful thing for her to do.
She put at ease 22 students and parents. Mrs. Nicely has been on TOP of my daughter's education and my daughter's learning has improved now that we are on TOP of it! I feel that if "WE" didn't have her as a teacher my daughter may be looked over and not "CHALLENGED" to do what she KNOWS she is able to do!
I am so thankful to have Tiffany Nicely in my daughters life as a teacher and a role model for her. I think Mrs. Nicely should be given the title of TEACHER OF THE MONTH. So many teachers out there don't get the praise they deserve.
For Mrs. Nicely to "change" her teaching from 3rd grade to 4th grade, all the work she had to do over the summer to get her class ready with the 4th grade educational programs and to change her lesson plans really took effort on her part... and for that "WE" are grateful.
I sure hope you think of Tiffany Nicely when you pick this month's teacher! She is a blessing to everyone that she comes in contact with! The whole class loves her and the parents all support my words of her.
