Coming to you from America’s Dairyland, I am extremely excited to explore the places and engage with the people of East Tennessee.
I am living out my childhood dream by making a career out of being on television. I will admit, however, that the dream has transformed a little bit over time. Back then, I was convinced that I would be the next big child actor. I guess I have always had small screen aspirations.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2017 with a degree in Communication Arts (broadcast and digital media emphasis) and Theatre Performance. My broadcast journalism career began at WXOW News 19 in La Crosse, WI where I spent 5 years working several different roles including: intern, production assistant, weekend producer, Daybreak producer, Midday producer and reporter. My work as a producer and reporter have earned nominations from the Upper Midwest Emmys and the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.
Outside of work, I like to perform in theatre, attend sporting events/concerts, travel, and hang out with friends and family. I am always willing to try out a new restaurant or brewery, so if you have any recommendations, feel free to send them my way!
Words cannot express how pumped and thankful I am for the opportunity to be a part of the Living East Tennessee team. If I can make someone smile through this job, whether that is in person or through a screen, I consider that a win. If you see me out and about in the community, please come up and say hi!
