Hobbies/Interests: Hanging out with her Pit Bull Terrier, “Bee”, they love going to dog parks & enjoying the many dog friendly aspects of Knoxville. She also loves working out, teaching cycling classes, spending times with friends
What You Enjoy About Covering Sports in East TN: The passion of the community whether it’s for the Vols, Lady Vols or local high schools is what makes this area so special to cover. I’ve always enjoyed being able to capture the little moments and stories that not everyone sees at first glance, but are the ones you don’t want to miss. Doing so in a community that cares, makes it even greater.
Fun Fact: Casey grew up in Pennsylvania but always pictured herself living in the South. When she was in elementary school, the dream was to be a singer in Nashville, while the career path changed, the draw to Rocky Top was a bit stronger than Music City
