Hello East Tennessee! I am thrilled to be co-hosting Living East Tennessee on WATE 6 On Your Side! I was a reporter here at WATE for a year before coming to Living East Tennessee, and have worked in the market for six years.
I am a small town girl. I grew up in a big family near my grandfather’s farm in Southwestern Virginia. I attended Concord University in West Virginia. My television career spans more than a decade, previously working as a reporter and anchor at WSLS in Roanoke, Virginia, and WVNS in Beckley, West Virginia.
My husband, Mario Azevedo, is from Knoxville and will always take credit for turning me into a VOL. Our son, Mario III, is our world, keeping both our hands and hearts very full!
