Birthplace/Hometown: Decatur, Ga.



Education: B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences/Specialization in Weather Forecasting from the University Of North Carolina-Asheville
Ken is recognized by the American Meteorological Society as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and is recognized by the National Weather Association for earning its Seal of Approval for meteorological competency and clear delivery of weather information.

The Weather Channel – 2002-2006
Freelance Meteorologist in Raleigh, and Winston-Salem, N.C. and Knoxville – 2000-2002
KOCO-TV Oklahoma City, Okla. – 1997-2000
WATE-TV – 2006 – present; 1992-1997. Weathers became Chief Meteorologist in 2022.
