Kerjan Donovan is an award-winning journalist. She joined the WATE-TV team as a Lifestyle Show Host for Living East Tennessee in March 2023.
Kerjan comes to Knoxville from KRDO NewsChannel 13 in Colorado Springs, where she worked as an anchor and reporter for Good Morning Colorado. While reporting in the Centennial State, she cultivated her passion for storytelling, feature reporting, and highlighting Colorado’s best businesses, places, and events.
Prior to working in Colorado Springs, Kerjan worked as the morning news anchor and producer at KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she field anchored from the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration, Cheyenne Frontier Days — the Grandaddy of ‘Em All.
She got her start as an intern for KTLA Morning News and E! Entertainment News in Los Angeles, California.
Kerjan attended the University of Southern California (Go Trojans!) and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. While at school, she hosted various shows for USC’s Trojan Vision Television and joined the USC Spirit Leaders, a co-ed cheer and spirit squad.
Kerjan was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, and is thrilled to live in Tennessee. In her free time, she loves hiking, yoga, travel, trying out some Southern food (yum!), spending time with her husband, and enjoying all that the Marble City and the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer.
