About Paige

Paige joined WATE in May 2022, and left in December 2022. She left the station to take a position in academia.

Paige began her broadcast journalism career while working toward her undergraduate degree at Troy University in Troy, Alabama. While finishing her final semester, Paige was hired at WDHN in Dothan, Alabama as a reporter. She soon became a nightside reporter and 10 o’clock evening news anchor. A year later, Paige began co-anchoring the six o’clock news. Months after that, Paige became WDHN’s main evening anchor.

Two and a half years after starting at WDHN, Paige and her husband, Matt, took a leap of faith and moved to Colorado Springs. Although the pair enjoyed exploring the Rocky Mountains, another group of mountains was calling their name. In May of 2022, Paige and Matt moved to Knoxville. The couple has spent their lives visiting the area and love the Smokies.

Paige enjoys finding stories that help people make informed decisions. She also loves animals (she and Matt have a Jack Chi named Ripley, and a cat named Bingley) and exploring coffee shops. Paige also loves to learn (she has a masters degree in strategic communication) and likes taking on challenges.
