Tennessee Vols: Hoops, court in place at Nationwide Arena for NCAA tournament

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The basketball hoops and court are now in place in preparation for March Madness at Nationwide Arena. 

Crews worked over the weekend to switch out the flooring at Nationwide Arena, from a KISS concert setup to a basketball court for first and second round games of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship.

According to a spokesperson the entire setup took about three hours to finish. 

The first basketball game of round one will feature Iowa taking on Cincinnati at 12:15 p.m. Friday. Colgate takes on Tennessee in the following game. 

At 6:15 p.m. Friday, Washington will take on Utah State, followed by Iona versus North Carolina.

The times of the second-round games have yet to be announced pending the outcomes of the first round games.
