KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Knoxville has become a hot spot for craft beer lovers and Scruffy Town is celebrating our love of brews with Craft Beer Week.
Zack Roskop, president of Knoxville Area Brewers Association, stopped by the WATE 6 On Your Side studios to tell us more about it.
A tribute to Knoxville’s brewing heritage will be celebrated with the citywide release of a special historic lager at breweries and taprooms on May 18.
The historic lager is made in part with Tennessee-grown corn and brewed with an American yeast
highlighting the kind of beer that Knoxville would’ve seen in the 1880s.
