Three Oak Ridge non-profits worked together Thursday to help the world’s most vulnerable as part of a campaign called “Rise Against Hunger.”

More than 100 volunteers worked together to pack 20,000 nutritious meals, following an assembly-line process. The dehydrated meals consist of rice, soy, vegetables and 23 essential vitamins and minerals.

The meals will be distributed mainly to school feeding programs in developing countries around the world.
