Second Harvest Food Bank is doing all they can to make sure there are no empty plates at and East Tennessee dinner table.
The food bank hosting its fundraiser luncheon “No Empty Plates” Thursday to make sure no one goes hungry.
$100 provides 300 meals.
This fundraiser was an opportunity for Second Harvest to remind the community just how important the work is that they do across East Tennessee.
“In our service area, we’re always aggressively urging this community to help us support and feed the hungry,” says Elaine Streno, executive director of Second Harvest Food Bank.
