Meet Cherry, Young-Williams Animal Center‘s Pet of the Week.
Cherry needs to find a forever home as soon as possible, but she has some special needs.
The pit-bull mix has been at the animal center for 7 months – the longest of any of their adoptable dogs.
She’s 9 years old and she is very sweet. She loves to play and she knows the “sit” command.
The animal center would love to find sweet Cherry a home, but any potential adopter should know that Cherry gets along with *some* other dogs, but not every dog, so there is a meet-and-greet requirement for her to make sure that if you have an animal that your dog and Cherry are gong to be good friends.
Cherry also prefers older children in the home and she also has a little bit of hip dysplasia so she’s on some medication – she’ll need a special person that’s going to be able to take care of her and have the right home.
She’s still pretty active for 9 years old, and loves to cuddle.
Cherry is available for adoption at the animal center’s Village location.
