Celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month

Living East Tennessee

Syncopated rhythms, vocal improvisation and variations of pitch and timbre are what many define as jazz music.

This style of music originated inside of African-American communities in New Orleans, and  continue to be recognized as a major form of musical expression.

April marks #JazzAppreciationMonth and on Living East Tennessee, we will continue to keep this style of music alive by celebrating through local artists in our community.

Thanks to singer Kelle Jolly, saxophonist Will Boyd and bass player, Rusty Holloway for celebrating jazz with us in the studio.
