Central Cinema is the only theater in the region screening a new documentary, Horror Noire. The documentary is based on Robin R. Means Coleman’s 2011 book of the same name, following the trajectory of how African Americans are represented in horror films.
It features extensive movie clips and interviews from several people in the industry, Tony Todd, Keith David and Jordan Peele.
This will be showing, Wednesday, February 6, as part of their Knoxville Horror Film Fest. This screening will include a program of themed horror movie trailers starting at 7p.m. Showtime is set for 8 p.m.
