Easter egg DIY with thrift store silk ties

Time for another fun DIY Easter project! Today Living East Tennessee’s Kelli Smith is using thrift store silk ties and making some beautful easter eggs to pop in those baskets this spring! It’s a simple project and best of all your kiddo’s can help too!

Here’s what you need:

100% silk ties.(The darker the colors the better)

Pack of rubber bands

1/4 cup Vinegar

Directions: Cut ties into squares. Wrap uncooked eggs in sqaures and tie off with rubber bands. Add additional rubber bands around the eggs to secure fabric. Boil for 20 minutes. Enjoy your colorful egss!
