The Great Smoky Mountains is the gift that just keeps on giving. The national park continues to educate our community through its educational programs, to teach children ages K-12 by using the parks natural resources as tools to educate, while making real world connections to history and science. 

Here’s a look at how they continue to promote hands-on learning, with a teacher who’s made this a yearly field trip for more than 20 years.
