“Jacks of Knoxville” shop lands on S. Gay St. featuring items from local makers

Living East Tennessee

One local Knoxville couple is opening a store of their dreams: a place where local makers and artisans can house their items to sell to the public.

The store will be called Jacks of Knoxville, featuring regional “jacks of all trades,” with handmade items from East Tennessee, and other surrounding states. The idea for an East Tennessean store-front stemmed from the couple’s current online company, Jacks Avenue, that celebrates local art and architecture.

The store will have its grand opening on Friday, Feb. 1st. The owners encourage visitors to stop in and shop during the city’s First Friday event in Feburary.
