Knoxville Symphony Orchestra to perform on violins from the Holocaust

Living East Tennessee

The Violins of Hope: Strings of the Holocaust exhibit features more than 35 restored violins that were played by Jewish musicians during the Holocaust.

The exhibit is partnering up with the Knoxvile Symphony Orchestra to pay tribute to these musicians, as well as the lives lost during some of the darkest parts of our world’s history.

The tribute will take place on Jan. 23 and 24 at the Tennessee Theatre. Tickets for the event are still available and start at $40.
