Extreme Classroom Makeover

It’s time for a technology make-over for one Blount County elementary school. The ORAU awarded 25,000 dollars to Renee Powell, a STEM teacher at Lanier Elementary School for an Extreme Classroom Makeover.

Powell plans to utilize these funds to purchase 3D printers for her students, launch a STEM lab and purchase cameras to begin a daily, video live stream for the morning announcements.

The ORAU said their mission is to continue to enrich the classroom experience for teachers like Renee Powell.
