Grab your pajamas and get ready for a road trip to the North Pole!

The Polar Express ride in Stearns, Kentucky, is celebrating another year of continued success on and off of the railways.

The ride travels approximately 6 miles on the Big South Fork Scenic Railway, to a North Pole, hand-made by local high-schoolers, and includes guest appearances from Santa Claus, his elves, the train conductor from the North Pole and chefs who will bring all guests holiday treats.

Each ticket includes an opportunity to meet Santa Claus, enjoy Christmas carols, a sweet treat and a special gift from the elves this holiday season!

The Polar Express ride runs until Dec. 23 in Historic Stearns, and is one trip to the North Pole you don’t want to miss out on.

The train is operated by the McCreary County Historical Society that is continuing to keep the history of the city, the county and the train alive! The Polar Express ride is exactly how it will continue to keep its history rolling for years to come.
