The Muse Knoxville talks upcoming lunar eclipse and local planetarium

Living East Tennessee

The “super blood wolf moon,” or this year’s first lunar eclipse of 2019, will be visible in the night sky this Sunday, Jan. 20, beginning with a partial eclipse at approximately 7:35 p.m.

The Muse Knoxville said now is a perfect time to teach your children about the eclipse, and other celestial occurences and bodies in the sky.

The Muse Knoxville houses the only publicly accessible planetarium in the city of Knoxville, and they offer live-guided star tours, and students can learn about celestial bodies and constellations that live in our sky.
