KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – The Knoxville Branch of the NAACP is celebrating 100 years of political, educational, social, economic equality of all persons and the elimination of discrimination and hatred in the East Tennessee Community.

Chapter president, Reverend John Butler is celebrating this milestone in the organization’s history, but is looking towards passing the torch to the next generation.
