TELLICO PLAINS (WATE) – A man drowned Sunday afternoon in Indian Boundary Lake in Tellico Plains.
The call came in at 5:00 p.m.
A spokesperson for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the body of the 23-year-old man was found quickly due to information from witnesses.
No further information was released on the victim.
Indian Boundary Lake is in the Cherokee National Forest.
