KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Firefighters said they were able to contain a fire to a vacant house in Knoxville in less than twenty minutes.
Knoxville Fire Department said they responded to a house in the 5400 block of Rucker Street at 10:40 p.m. Friday after a neighbor noticed smoking coming from a vacant house down the street.
Firefighters were able to contain the damage to one room and an attic area of the structure. No injuries were reported.
Arson Investigators are on the scene to determine the cause of the fire. No other information has been released at this time.
