It’s First Friday in Knoxville! Restaurants, bars, art galleries and many other downtown businesses will open and putting on a variety of special events. 

First Friday with Jack Neely

Knoxville Visitors Center will host author Jack Neely for a book signing of his latest work, Historic Knoxville: The Curious Visitor’s Guide to Its Stories and Places. The event will run from 5-7 p.m. 

The Emporium Center Art Exhibits

Knoxville’s Emporium Center will feature five new exhibits Friday. First Friday festivities will also feature a live performance from the Knoxville Gay Men’s Chorus. Click here for more information. 

Mardi Growl Cajun Crawl

The Mardi Growl Cajun Crawl is a week of food, fun, and festivities for all ages plus four-legged friends. Downtown restaurants, bars, and boutiques celebrate with events and specials Tuesday, February 26 thru Tuesday, March 5. The 12th Annual Young-Williams Animal Center Mardi Growl Parade starts at 11a on Saturday, March 2 in the Old City with a Festival from 11a-3p on Market Square.
