East Tennessee Opioid Conference being held in April

The East Tennesse Opioid Conference will be April April 11.

The conference will be held at The Venue in Lenior City from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. 

The conference will collaborate and discuss community solutions around pain and addiction for all healthcare professionals.

Topics Include Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), the Ground View of Addiction, Surgical
and Care Coordination for the Primary Care Physician, Alternatives to Pain Treatment, and the Neuroscience of Pain.

Speakers include representatives from the Tennessee Department of Health, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Knox County District Attorney’s Office, Knox County Medical Examiner’s Office, Summit Medical Group, the University of Tennessee Medical Center,  the Metro Drug Coalition, Pain Consultants of East Tennessee, the University of California San Diego and Cherokee Health Systems.

Costs are:
* MD, DO, DDS: $75
* NP, PA, RN, Pharmacist, Other Medical Professionals: $50
* Community Members: $25
* Students and Residents: Free

(All registration fees, minus processing fees, will be donated to the Metro Drug Coalition)
