The deadline is approaching to submit an application to enroll your child in Emerald Academy, the only public charter school in Knoxville.

Applications must be submitted online by 5 p.m., Saturday, March 23. Any Knox County resident with a rising kindergarten through eighth grade student is eligible to apply. There is no cost for tuition.

“It is such a joy to serve young people each day at Emerald Academy. We have a tremendous team that is committed to our scholars, helping ensure they’re prepared for high school and beyond,” said School Director Renee Kelly. “The online application process is easy and only takes a few minutes. I so look forward to seeing more smiling faces in the hallways of our school next year!”
