InterFaith Health Clinic to make Valentine’s Day deliveries to raise funds

As Seen On WATE

With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, InterFaith Health Clinic has a way to satisfy your loved one’s sweet tooth – and give the community a sweet gift with a longer-lasting impact.

The nonprofit clinic, which provides medical, dental and mental health care to the working poor, will have its tenth-annual Sweets to the Sweet fundraiser, delivering gourmet miniature bundt cakes to recipients’ doors. The cakes, from the Nothing Bundt Cakes store in Bearden, each come with a Valentine’s Day card notifying the recipient that one patient visit has been purchased in his or her honor.

This event will be sponsored by Home Federal Bank and Morgan Stanley. Each Sweets to the Sweet delivery is $50, the cost of an average primary-care patient visit to the clinic.

Cakes must be ordered by Monday, Feb. 11th, and they’ll be delivered on Thursday, Feb. 14. To order, call Missy Standifer 865-243-3038, or order online at http://www.interfaithhealthclinic.org/sweets-to-the-sweet.html
