Music Feeds Concert Series artists announced

Organizers for Commercial Bank Music Feeds Concert Series announced their lineup of artists for 2018 Monday.

The concert series benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee. Last year the concert series brought Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters to World’s Fair Park.

This year’s concert series will be held at the Amphitheater at World’s Fair Park. 

The series kicks off June 1 with Here Comes the Mummies, a Nashville-based band whose individual identities are concealed under mummy costumes. 

It continues on Friday, July 19 with Queen cover band, Simply Queen. Singer-songwriter Corey Smith will perform the following day on Saturday, July 20. 

Earth Wind & Fire cover band ‘Shining Star’ be the first performers of August when they take the stage on Saturday, August 3. 

On Friday, August 30, Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Steve Earle & The Dukes will take the stage. The Virginia-native is best known for his iconic hit ‘Copperhead Road’ and his appearance on the fifth season of the HBO show ‘The Wire’. 

Scott Miller & The Commonwealth will conclude the series with  Friday, October 4.
