The grand opening of Ole Red Gatlinburg is happening next month and will feature “a concert from the boss man himself,” country music star Blake Shelton.
The grand opening will also feature a week-long series of performances and events at the restaurant location that Ole Red is calling, “Spring Blake.” Those scheduled to perform apart from Shelton include contestants on “The Voice.”
Those who cannot attend “Spring Blake” March 11-17 can stream a portion of the concert on Ole Red Gatlinburg’s Facebook page.
Ole Red Gatlinburg will be the third location of the restaurant and music venue chain that began in Blake Shelton’s home state of Oklahoma, having since traveled west to Tennessee, where the second location is located in Nashville.
The song, “Ol’ Red” was a single released by Shelton in 2002 from his first studio album, “Blake Shelton.”
The restaurant and music venue chain Ole Red “is a country lifestyle brand inspired by” Shelton, according to their website and is owned and operated by Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc.
Ole Red Gatlinburg is located at 511 Parkway Gatlinburg, TN 37738.
