“Weed Wrangle” is an annual cleanup event in Tennessee’s state parks that focuses on getting non-native, invasive plant species out of the parks.
The public is invited to volunteer to help rid the parks of weeds – for one day only, and by region.
This year’s state-wide event is happening Saturday, March 2.
“Our intent as stewards of the environment is to support our partners in their commitment to removing invasive plants throughout Tennessee State Parks and Natural Areas,” state parks officials say.
