KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Two people were able to get out of their Knoxville home safely on Monday night, after a car fire turned into a house fire.
Rural-Metro firefighters were called to 2308 Dawns Pass around midnight.
According to the initial investigation, the homeowner called 911 when he noticed a fire in the garage.
The two residents inside of the home at the time were able to get out safely before Rural-Metro put out the fire.
Officials are leading an investigation into the cause of the fire.
