Now – Dec. 24 Christmas Drive-Thru at Mullins Chapel Baptist Church, free. 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 1729 Mullins Chapel Road off Hwy 92 in Dandridge.

Now – Feb. 19 Pigeon Forge Winterfest, free. One of the country’s largest free outdoor lights festivals with more than 40 displays found throughout Pigeon Forge. More info. Walk the new Winterfest Wonders of Light Walking Trail at the Riverwalk Greenway.

Now to Jan. 31 – Lights over Gatlinburg. Tickets required. Gatlinburg SkyLift Park. Photos ops for the family, 300-foot tunnel of lights, new hiking trail, and 20 NEW dancing trees along the SkyTrail. More info.

Now to Jan 1 – Christmas at Anakeesta. Included in general admission, Anakeesta’s Parkway Christmas tree will dazzle with over 3 million lights and custom animations, and guests will be captivated by daily entertainment including Kringle’s Karols Christmas Carolers and Jolly the Juggling Elf. Now to Jan. 2 – Light the Park in Farragut, free. Lights are from Town of Farragut welcome sign on N. Campbell Station Road to Founders Park at Campbell Station, the Farragut Community Center and Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza at the Campbell Station Inn. Lights come on every evening at dusk through Jan. 2. More info.

Now to Jan – Smoky Mountain Lights, $25 per car. 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily. New holiday experience at the Townsend Visitor Center open through Jan. 2. Not only will visitors be able to take in the lights of Christmas, but they will also experience Christmas Village vendors and meet Santa.

Now to Jan – Regal Celebration of Lights, free, 5:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Market Square, Krutch Park and Market Street in downtown Knoxville. Holiday skating rink opens, tree lighting at 6 p.m. and Evelyn Jack performs. More info a https://www.KnoxvilleTN.gov/Christmas.

Now to Jan 1 – Shadrack Christmas at Soaky Mountain Waterpark. Tickets required and must be purchased before arrival. More info.

Nov. 25 to Jan. 8 – Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt in downtown Knoxville. Free, children of all ages will enjoy this fun-filled adventure at more than two dozen downtown locations. Pick up your pass at the Visit Knoxville Visitors Center or Mast General Store

Nov. 25 to Jan. 8 – Downtown Peppermint Trail, free. Follow the trail of peppermints on the sidewalks of Downtown Knoxville to discover all sorts of treats featuring the favorite red-and-white candy.

Dec 9 & 10; Dec 16 & 17 – Christmas in the Village, tickets required. 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day at the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center in Townsend. Living history interpreters will act as guides through the holiday-adorned historic Appalachian village full of handcrafting demonstrations allowing visitors to connect with the spirit and history of Townsend, Cades Cove and the Great Smoky Mountains. More info.

Dec. 9 – Dandridge Tree Lighting and Carols, free. 6 p.m. at downtown Dandridge Court House. Dandridge Elementary Choir to perform. Christmas Carolers 7 p.m., Dandridge First United Methodist Church performs around town.

Dec. 10 – Winter Farmers’ Market in Market Square, downtown Knoxville. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dec. 10 – Christmas at Historic Rugby. $20 adult, free for kids 17 and under. Special tours of historic buildings and private homes. Village transforms into 1880s Victorian Christmas wonderland, the year Rugby was settled by British colonists. More info.

Dec. 10 – Tour de Lights, free. This all-ages holiday bicycle ride, presented by Bike Walk Knoxville and Visit Knoxville, will begin at Suttree Landing Park and end at Market Square. Route map.

Dec. 10 – Oak Ridge Christmas Parade, free. 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Theme is “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree.”

Dec. 10 – Seymour Community Christmas Parade, free. 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Dec. 10 – Smoky Mountain Christmas at the Museum – Little River Railroad and Lumber Company Museum. More detail to be released soon.

Dec. 10 & 11 – Mabry-Hazen House Candlelight Christmas tours and annual Christmas Card Exhibit, $10 adults, $5 children (6-17), free for members. Tours 15 people at at time and last 45 minutes. See the historic house all lit by candlelight and decorated in a festive mix of historic and modern styles, join in classic Victorian parlor games, shop local vendors for gifts. More info.

Dec. 11 – Old City Market hosting a variety of vendors selling locally made wares. 100 block of W. Jackson Ave in Knoxville. 11 am. to 4 p.m.

Dec. 12 – Rockwood Christmas Parade will start at 7 p.m., the lineup is at 6 p.m., and begins in the IGA Food Store area.

Dec. 15 – HOLA Lakeway “Pachanga” event at 1907 Brewing Company in Morristown. Tickets and info are available here.

Dec. 15 – The Longest Night: A service of loss and hope, free. 5:45 p.m. meal, 6:30 p.m. worship and candle lighting. Powell United Methodist Church, 323 W Emory in Powell. Christmas can be overshadowed by the pain and hurt of loss. On this longest night of the year, claim these feelings and still feel surrounded by a compassionate community and a compassionate love of God. 

Dec. 16 to 18 – 36th Annual Clayton Holiday Concert. Tickets required. 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. More info.

Dec. 17 – Dandridge Christmas Parade, free. 1 p.m. start time.

Dec. 17 – Pet Photos with Santa Paws at Powell Animal Hospital, free. Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at 205 Star Mountain Way in Powell.

Dec. 17 – Tales from the Tavern at Marble Springs State Historic Site. Noon to 6 p.m. Wintertime stories and tales as you sip cider, hot cocoa and eat popcorn. Make a cranberry garland to take home. 1220 W Gov John Sevier Highway. More info.

Dec. 31 – New Year’s Eve at the Sunsphere, free. Ring in the New Year with a fun, all-ages celebration on World’s Fair Park with a DJ, live band and ball drop at midnight.

Dec. 31 – Gatlinburg New Year’s Eve Ball Drop & Fireworks, free. Downtown Gatlinburg Space Needle. Concerts, midnight ball drop with fireworks that will blast off the rooftop of the 400-foot tall Space Needle with special music choreographed for the fireworks show produced by Pyro-Shows of LaFollette, Tennessee. The Space Needle has added rhythmic LED lights to the tower, making for a spectacular display.
