First-ever Poutinefest to be held Friday night in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Poutine Mobile is holding its inaugural Poutinefest in Knoxville Friday night.

The event will be at Fountain City Casual Pint on Friday, June 26, from 6 p.m. until closing. The event includes activities such as a poutine eating contest, $5 regular poutine all night, live music, prize drawings and more.Related story:From Canada to Knoxville, Poutine Mobile is a hit

The eating contest will take place from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The first prize winner will receive a $50 gift certificate for Fountain City Casual Pint, a $100 gift certificate to Poutine Mobile and a mini-fridge. Second place gets a $50 gift certificate to Poutine Mobile and third place a $25 gift certificate.

To register for the eating contest, send Poutine Mobile a private message on Facebook or send an email to info@poutinemobile.com. Please provide your name, age, email address and phone number. Ten contestants will be randomly selected. The winner will be determined by the number of plates consumed. The food cannot be poured with water, smashed or destroyed.
