KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Sarah Merrell of Gage Talent is showcasing the biggest fashion trends for Spring 2016 on WATE’s Good Morning Tennessee.
Pantone’s colors of the season include vivid brights paired with soothing, calm tones like dusy pinks and soft blues. Iced coffee will also carry over from previous seasons through Spring.
A romantic theme will also be prevalent with sheer fabrics and flowy layers. Soft floral prints will be popular as well.
The nod to the 60’s and 70’s is not going away anytime soon, with flare pants staying on the scene. Volume will be an important aspect in shapes this season which will be seen in sleeves, pants, and a-line dresses. It’s a comfortable and forgiving way to stay on trend.
In addition to floral prints, classic stripes will be in style as well, and bare shoulders will be a fun part of outfits this year. Could shoulder, one shoulder and cut out tops will be very popular.
