HARLAN, Ky. (WATE) – A Harlan County, Kentucky, man was killed early Wednesday morning in a house fire in the Baxter community.
Kentucky State Police say firefighters were called to a fire at 1535 KY 413 around 2:53 a.m. When they arrived, they found Jerry Robert Langley, 25, deceased. KSP troopers and detectives arrived just after 3:20 a.m. An autopsy is scheduled a the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort.
The case remains under investigation. No other details were released, including a possible cause of the fire.
