Knoxville (WATE) – Playing host to the Bearden Bulldogs in boy’s and girl’s basketball, the Maryville Rebels emerged winners in both games Tuesday night. The Bearden girls came into the game 17-3, but couldn’t buy a bucket in the fourth quarter as Maryville pulled away, beating the Bulldogs by a final score of 54-33. Maryville moved to 13-5 on the season.

The boy’s team took the court shortly afterwards, and also got by Bearden 74-64. The Rebels are 15-3 this season, while the loss dropped the Bulldogs to 12-8.

Next up, both Rebels squads host Heritage on Friday night, while Bearden welcomes Farragut.
